Nicu was born in Moldavia, but it was in Lisbon that he took the Bakery, Pastry and Cooking class. He worked on several restaurants in the city, from Cantinho do Avillez to Decadente, but it was in Bica do Sapato that he met the chef Alexandre, who invited him to his space at Mercado da Ribeira. When LOCO came on the horizon, Nicu was an obvious choice to join the new team.
Chef de partie, he has Marrone’s stove on his own.
